NCSAA Community Programs

The National Christian School Athletic Association conducts various community programs annually, with the goal of impacting communities nationally with the love of Christ.  These programs include the following:

Free Community Sports Camps

NCSAA partners with Christian schools across the country to offer free community sports camps in their communities.  The goal of this Community Camp Program is to challenge Christian schools to actively use the blessings of their athletic programs to positively impact and serve their local communities, as well as train their students to develop the habits of servant-leadership.  Some schools raise funds to support their own camps, and other camps are funded by NCSAA.

Each year NCSAA financially supports 5-10 free community sports camps operated by Christian schools, giving some priority to camps held in inner-city locations.  NCSAA holds an annual Sports Memorabilia Auction each summer to fund this program, and schools may begin requesting funds to support their camps beginning each fall.  If your school has a unique idea for ministering to your community through a free sports camp funded by NCSAA, please contact us for additional information about the possibility.  We look forward to partnering with you!

If you'd like to know how your school can get involved in the Community Clinic Program, contact NCSAA today!

Summer Sports Ministry Tour - COMING SOON

In coming years we hope to send our first group of high school and college students on a regional sports ministry tour.  This group, trained and accompanied by NCSAA staff members, will visit selected Christian schools, where the tour team will assist in conducting sports camps and developing a community sports ministry program.  The tour team will be selected on an application basis, and schools chosen as "tour stops" must demonstrate a desire to develop an ongoing community sports ministry program.

Regional Ministry Fundraising Goals

Each year NCSAA conducts special fundraising during its regional tournament events to support significant needs of which we're aware.  In recent years we have raised money to send soccer balls to Rwanda as a part of a World Vision program, as well as helped schools and families who have been met with specific personal difficulties.  If you would like us to consider a particular cause as a regional fundraising goal during next year's tournaments, please contact NCSAA with details.

Corporate Donor Special Giving

Each year we encourage our Corporate Partners and Sponsors to contribute extra funds toward our regional ministry goals, inner-city grants, and other NCSAA community programs.  If your company is interested in becoming an NCSAA Partner or Sponsor and supporting these community causes through a tax-deductible donation, CLICK HERE.

College-Credit Sports Ministry Classes - COMING SOON

Our soon-to-be-unveiled Coaches' and Athletic Directors' Certification Program will include sports ministry classes and options.  Our plan is to offer some of these courses in classroom settings on Christian college campuses across the country.  If your school would be interested in hosting an NCSAA sports ministry course on your campus, please contact NCSAA to express your interest.

Volunteer Opportunities - VOLUNTEER NOW

NCSAA provides numerous opportunities for interested parties to volunteer and serve at various levels.  If you're interested in being a part of what NCSAA is doing, take some time today to complete a volunteer form today.  We'd love to have you as a partner in our mission!

Sports Ministry Resource Handbook - COMING SOON

We're currently working on putting together a new handbook which will provide help for schools that would like to be involved in sports ministry activities in their communities.  If you represent a sports ministry organization or program that would like to be included in our handbook, CLICK HERE.
