Excellence:

* We believe that all people should develop all parts of their person to glorify their Creator; this mandate includes a person's athletic gifts.

* We believe that people with athletic gifts should strive to be excellent athletically, to please God and to bring glory and honor to His Name through the use of those gifts.

Opportunity:

* We believe that the goal of excellence should be reflected in Christian school athletic programs, and that increased athletic opportunities will help schools and athletes to attain that goal of excellence.

Relationship:

* We believe that relationships (with God and others) are eternal and should be the highest priority in life.

* We believe that Christian schools should seek productive relationships with one another, and that such relationships can be a network for ministry and a model for relationships with others.

Service:

* We believe that Christians are the Church and should be actively working, as vessels of change, to impact their society for Christ Jesus.

* We believe that every Christian school, of any mission or purpose, should train their students to minister to the needs of others -- and that schools have a unique opportunity to use their athletic programs to impact and serve their communities, especially at a time when athletics are such a powerful cultural tool for witness.

** We believe that accomplishing these goals, as called by Christ, is not an easy task -- but should be, nonetheless, pursued with fervor and passion.  We should seek this vision to the point that we grow S.O.R.E.
